My name is Mercedes and I would like to tell you all about Ora Health & Fitness.
I received flyers in the mail and always said I would give them a call but never got around to it. It was only until a friend suggested we look for a personal trainer in our area to which I knew who to call. I rang Pauline and it has been the best thing I have done for myself.
Not only have I lost weight but I have regained my confidence. I have a goal and Pauline is helping me reach it. I personaly find Ora Health & Fitness a much better option than going to the gym, it's not just about classes it's the support that I got that has made the world of difference and I have made great friends along the way.
I highly recomend Ora to anyone who wants to make a change even if it's a small one. I have achieved so much more then I could have imagined and am on my way to getting the body I have always wanted and never thought possible.

As a mother of 2 young children and working full time, I found it hard to attend fitness sessions at local gymnasiums and access personal trainers to assist me in achieving my goals.
Then I discovered Ora Health & Fitness. My fully qualified personal trainer Pauline looked at my schedule and we discussed my goals and expectations. She then tailored personal and group sessions which have ensured I have achieved my weight loss and fitness goals. And I look and feel fantastic!.
And it isn’t just exercise. Pauline has given me professional advice on health eating and what to look for when doing the shopping so I can ensure my family is eating healthy as well.
Based on the positive experience and results I have had, I would strongly recommend ORA to anyone who wants to achieve weight loss and fitness goals in a friendly environment with a qualified trainer that has your goals at heart.

I met Pauline last year at a crazy 68.9kgs, you may all think that isn’t bad but for me it was shocking! Even after both my pregnancies I managed to get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 55-56kgs. So putting on an extra nearly 14kgs just freaked me out a little.
So my journey of weight loss began in January 2010, it became religious that I would never miss a Monday PT session. This I loved as it gave me an insight, on the most valuable asset to always remember when training and wanting to lose weight. Within the first 6 weeks my food habits had changed to a more a natural way of eating.and I trained 2 days a week. I would walk every other day with the kids and do my home exercise program that Pauline gave me in between her classes. After putting in a huge effort within that first 6 weeks I lost 2kgs and 16cm around my body. I was happy but not satisfied.
Then Pauline turned everything up notch and the next six weeks were even harder! I introduced more sessions and my nutrition became stricter. All up I have lost 9kgs with 1kg to go. I can’t begin to tell you all how happy I am. I’ve learnt that you have to eat well and maintain it if you want to see results.
I have been inspired by my results in a way that has completely changed my life. So much that I am currently studying to become a Personal Trainer. If I can help someone then that satisfies me, just like Pauline helped me. I want to help others that want to reach a goal in their lives and maintain a happier and healthier life. I hope I have inspired some of you to really look into what you want out of training hard and being healthy.

Having paid many gym memberships over the years and not committed to any of them I have finally found a fitness organisation that I am totally committed to. I joined Ora Health & Fitness in October 2010. In this short period of time my fitness and health has improved dramatically.
Prior to joining Ora I was suffering from vertigo, feeling lethargic and definitely starting to feel my age. My line of work is sedentary and according to my physiotherapist I was totally out of condition and if I wanted my vertigo to improve he strongly recommended that I do more excercise and in my case at least some form of excercise, that was when I discovered Ora and met Pauline.
I attend 3 sessions a week and absolutely loved the program and the challenge that comes with every session. What makes Ora unique is being outdoors and the cross training set up is exhilarating . Boredom is not an option as every session is different, boxing, sandbags, tyres, weights...the list goes on. I end every session feeling I have had a real workout.
My energy levels have increased and I can’t remember the last time I felt the unsteadiness that comes with vertigo...my balance is great and my coordination...well I didn’t think I was every going to get it right, but I have. Thanks Pauline, it’s your commitment to my fitness that makes the difference!

I joined group training in preparation for my wedding. I was really nervous at the thought of doing it initially, as I'd never done anything like this before. Real people actually do group training, no size 4 models WAG's to intimidate us! I felt instantly comfortable when I met the group; Mads makes the session’s fun, encouraging us to strive to our own personal goals, having a giggle in the process. I’ve made some great friends from this, and have even gone on to do another semester of training even after vie been married"

Since commencing training with Ora Health and Fitness, I have seen great improvement in my core strength & cardio abilities. I train with my boyfriend and together we are more motivated and are living a healthier lifestyle. We always feel like we are being pushed, without being broken! I feel my best when I train and look forward to every session.

I've been training with Madeline at Ora for one term and have enjoyed my experience so much that I have just signed up for the 12 week challenge. I have two children under 3 years of age and I was finding it difficult to fit any structured exercise into my busy day. But with Ora's Mums and Bubs class I have found a way to regain my fitness. Prior to children I was a keen runner and triathlete, and after one term of Mums and Bubs classes I feel I am stronger and closer to regaining some of my former strength and fitness. The nannies are wonderful, so not only do I get a much needed break from my kids, but my kids get to have fun too!

My trainer Mads has pushed me to achieve results I never imagined possible. On my first session I jogged around the block, for the first time in my life, and now I can tackle short runs myself between training sessions. The girls I train with are mostly mums, and we have a good laugh. It’s a fun way to exercise and meet new people and Mads, being a mum herself, gets how I am feeling and knows what I can and can’t manage. She is the perfect mix of sympathetic and slave driver!
